What are the external repercussions of a representation that is diegetically constructed? How film can be understood by audience? cinema experience able to mobilize? By means research-action method and from perspective Hermeneutics, Cultural Studies theories perception, which places spectator as an active agent in understanding communication process, this article seeks reflect on spectatorship its educational dimension, taken object reception Through Olive Trees (1994), iranian film-maker, Abbas Kirostami, classroom experience, postgraduate course at public university. After introductory conceptual discussion relation between reality fiction, education, students’ interpretations were analyzed, revealing active, imaginative, formative character experience.
